On a more uplifting note, my sis signed the papers on her bookstore this week and is in the process of moving into the little efficiency within! I am so proud of her. She's been running an on-line bookstore successfully for years and has dreamed of a storefront bookstore her entire life. This is a dream come true for her and I can't wait to see what she makes of it. She sold everything she had to pay down on it and only loaded what could fit in her car!! Whoo Hoo! Talk about dynomite.
The last few weeks I've been sweating over what granite to choose!! I've already selected the cabinets--Maple. I love white but I knew I would be kicking myself 100 greasy fingerprints into the move. I LOVE the Maple. The granite is not the one below. I liked it up against the sample, but in a real home it was too beige for me. Blah. I'm down to two choices and it's a surprise you'll have to wait for.
The kitchen floor tile is going to be grey. I'm pretty set on this. I love grey and it's not the everyone-has-it look that I can't stand. I think this will be our carpet, but not hard set on it yet. That's more a Josh thing. He wants a carpet that won't show stains as much. I'm okay with that as long as I can get a nice rug or something later. The important thing is, Bubzy likes it!

Yeah, I love gray too, so it'll look terrific, can't wait to see it!! My kitchen is wood color and with gray granite countetops and I love the choise. I already had a white kitchen for many years and I always had to be cleaning finger prints, food stains, spills on the white, etc. Thank you for your lovely visit and for the invitation to this terrific party! I am going to grab your button to my sideboard and I am also your newst follower..hope you like to follow back. Have a great week.

Thank you!! I love decorating with gray. It's my favorite nuetral. I'll just continue to drool over the white kitchens on other blogs. It's just not practical here. We have not only 3 children, but homeschooling children...which means science experiments, too. I'm heading over to your blog to follow back right now. See ya. -Tabitha
